Orthopedic Bodywork for the Neck Instructor: Regina Callahan 8 Live CE Hours (NCBTMB Approved) Prerequisite: LMT or a minimum of 500 hours of massage or manual therapy training This class is a MUST if you work with clients with neck pain and dysfunction (acute and chronic). *Learn to work smart, not hard! *Learn a precise and extremely effective method for pain relief and improving neck function. * Dramatically improve your skills working with whiplash, thoracic outlet, forward head posture and headaches. This is Orthopedic Bodywork for the Neck class #1 Class #1: the Stroke: this is side-lying work - the most direct and effective way to address the layers of cervical muscles. I will also add in some yummy go-to strokes that I use with every neck I work with. Orthopedic Bodywork/Massage is best described as an advanced system of therapy that brings together a dynamic combination of techniques: massage, mobilization, and neuromuscular re-education, synthesized with Eastern energy practices. This work has its roots in the work of Dr. Tom Hendrickson of The Hendrickson Method Regina Callahan, LMT, is a Certified Orthopedic Massage Practitioner and Instructor and is one of a handful of teachers personally trained by Dr. Tom Hendrickson. Regina was a lead instructor at the Institute of Orthopedic massage for 12 years. Tuition: $225 (due upon registration) Registration/Refund Policy: To hold your space in this class, payment in full $225 is due with registration form. If you cancel 14 days or more prior to the class, tuition will be refunded (minus a $15 administration fee). Because of classroom rental and other organizational logistics, if you cancel with less than 14 days notice, the class fee becomes non-refundable. We reserve the right to cancel classes not meeting minimum participant requirements by 14 days before the class. If the class is cancelled for any reason by SMH, all class fees paid will be refunded.

Cancellation Policy
A $350 deposit is due upon registration, with balance due upon invoice, 28 days prior to the first day of class. (If class fee is under $350, balance is due at registration.) If you do not make a deposit, your registration cannot be confirmed. Registrations cancelled with 28 or more days’ notice will be refunded less a $25 administration fee. Within 28 days before class, there will be no refunds for any reason including medical and family emergency. If the participant cancels after the workshop is in progress or misses hours during the workshop, no refund will be given. CE Hours will only be awarded if you complete the class. We reserve the right to cancel classes not meeting minimum participant requirements by 28 days before the class. If the class is cancelled for any reason by SMH, all class fees paid will be refunded or may be credited toward a future workshop. We strongly advise confirming with the organizer that the class has a minimum number of students registered before making nonrefundable travel reservations. Please do not purchase a non-refundable travel ticket or make a non-refundable hotel/Air BnB reservations of any kind until you have been notified that the class is a “Go,” which will occur no later than 28 days before the scheduled start of the class. Please purchase travel insurance, which may help you secure emergency help in the case of weather-related flight cancellation(s).
