Still Mountain Healer Certificate Program

Still Mountain Healer offers two levels of Craniosacral certification:

The Essentials Craniosacral Work and The Advanced Immersion.

Those who do not wish to pursue the certificate program may opt to take the courses individually. You will learn skills in each class that you can immediately incorporate into your current practice.

The Essentials Craniosacral Work Certificate Program

Components:

Level 1-4 Craniosacral Work Classes:

Each Essentials Craniosacral Work course includes 24-28 hours of in-class instruction (lecture, demonstration and plenty of hands-on practice). In addition you should expect to spend 5 to 10 hours of reading and review prior to each class. A reading list will be provided.

Ethics 1:

Attending Level 1: Groundwork satisfies this 4 Hour requirement. The OBMT requires 4 hours of Ethics to renew your license.

Mentoring Sessions:

The intention of the Mentoring Sessions is to guide students on their individual journey of exploring, learning and deepening their skills in Craniosacral Work. Craniosacral Work is a multi-layered system with many facets. Every student learns in a different way and each has their unique skills, gifts and talents. It is our goal to meet each student in their unique place of learning and point them in a direction that will enhance their skills. The opportunity to guide each student on an individual basis accelerates and deepens their learning.

6 mentoring sessions are required for certification. Both live (one-on-one and small group) and on-line (Zoom or FB messenger video) mentoring will be available. Private live mentoring sessions can be scheduled by appointment. Two of the mentoring sessions must be live.

Craniosacral Anatomy 1:

This is an combined live and on-line anatomy course. This course requirement can be attained through documented self-study. Videos and testing materials will be made available to students.

Documented Practice Sessions:

40 client sessions are required for certification. A form will be provided to you to document your sessions. The documented sessions are reviewed by an instructor and feedback is provided to help guide your work.

Professional Sessions:

It is important to experience this work. 8 professional sessions are required. Please inquire about the list of approved professionals.

Final Examination:

Written Exam:

The written exam covers the essential anatomy, physiology, technical aspects, and theory. This test will be administered after the fourth class. Passing score is 80%.
